Fine Arts

  • Attic Finds, Pastel on sanded paper, 2009
This album highlights my recent work in still life painting with pastels. Inspiration comes from the color and texture of both everyday and unusual objects, as well as the timeless beauty of fruits and flowers. In these pieces, I've relished the chance to develop my personal style and capture my way of seeing the world on paper.

Just for Fun

  • Giraffe, Winter 2008
I've always loved animals. Some of my best childhood memories include visits to zoos across our country, as well as trips to the local nature preserve to feed the deer (back when we didn't know that was unhealthy for them.) I have pictures of myself as a child riding elephants and camels, holding snakes and baby alligators, and, alarmingly, posing next to a clearly drugged lion inside the old MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. Now I'm sharing my awe of wildlife with my children, and taking some amateur point and shoot photos. And please believe me, NONE of us will be posing with a lion!

Christine

Everyday Nicholas asks if Larry if he "lost money today." And Christopher accurately said that the financial problem started because people bought houses they couldn't afford.
